Meditation and MindfulnesIt is no secret that emotional, mental, social and spiritual factors can directly affect health. In fact, up to 80% of illnesses are related to chronic stress. Fortunately there are techniques that can help manage and minimize the effects of stress – no matter what role cancer plays in your life.

At our Mind Body Wellness Center, we share simple tools for you to support your own healing in order to help manage your stress and anxiety, to get out of your brain and into your body, and find serenity in your heart. Join us for one of our classes, offered by well seasoned facilitators in the field of mind body medicine and meditation techniques.  Or, if a live class is not suitable to your needs at this time, please check out our online resource section or come by our center and browse our library collection of cd’s and books.

All of our classes and resources are designed to address the questions and needs of people living with cancer.

 

Upcoming classes & events:

To allow for sufficient preparation time, note that registration may close 24 hours prior. Class may be cancelled if there are insufficient sign-ups.

Our programs are specifically tailored to the needs of those affected by the stress of cancer – cancer patients, survivors, caretakers, and family. Classes are free or low cost on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that our programs are accessible to everyone. Please contact us if you are in need of a scholarship or assistance with any class fees.
