Using silence and breath we cultivate a practice of mindfulness — cultivating a clear, stable, and non-judgemental awareness of all experiences in life.  This meditation practice supports a powerful process of relaxation and self-awareness from within.  The stability and non-reactivity you cultivate in meditation practice enhances your ability to navigate stress and anxiety better, elevate the immune system, improve pain management and sleep, and increase your capacity to experience more joy.

About Jan Webb

Jan was first introduced to and fell in love with meditation and yoga while attending college in Santa Rosa in the 1970’s. After having been diagnosed with a cancerous growth and feeling that fear one experiences, she rediscovered what an important role meditation and good physical health played in reducing the stresses in her life.

Her certifications include completion of a whole health course at National Institute of Whole Health out of Boston Mass., a certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), as well as a certified chair yoga instructor by Laskshmi Voelker, the creator of chair yoga. In addition to helping out at Wellness Within, she currently teaches exercise and meditation classes at assisted living facilities.
