The Healing Power of Reiki and Sound

Date(s) - 10/14/2017
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Reiki is a Japanese method for relaxation and stress reduction that invites the universal life force energy to stimulate one’s own natural healing process and invites feelings of deep peace, safety, and wellbeing for body, mind, and spirit.
Sound therapy with Himalayan bowls is based on the concept that all matter is made of and responds to frequencies of energy.  Sound taps into the life force, reduces blood pressure and induces a meditative state, improving immunity and restoring cellular harmony.
Together, Reiki and sound unify as a powerful integrative approach with allopathic medicine’s treatment plan for managing side effects, increasing wellness, and promoting recovery.
In this workshop, Marion Hakata will talk about what Reiki means, benefits, and uses to affect a personal healing facilitation plan that induces relaxation, reduces stress, and focuses on inviting the energy of unconditional love.  Kate Casey will share information about the science behind sound therapy and its benefits, followed by a live healing concert and meditation with Himalayan bowls.
