Tree Meditation Series with Susan Whitaker
We have a variety of meditation instructors on our Wellness Within Podcast Channel and we encourage everyone to find the one that resonates with each of you. Each instructor has their own style, cadence, and intention for the meditation. One of our amazing, certified instructors is Susan Whitaker who specially crafted a powerful Tree Meditation Series consisting of 10 guided imagery meditations.
If you think you may enjoy experiencing a felt sense connection to yourself and nature through a explorative and restorative practice, then we highly recommend this series to you. From walking through a forest and finding your Life Tree, to surrendering to a deep sense of gratitude through a guided ceremony, this series will take you on an inward journey.
Each meditation is around 10-15 minutes long and can be a great way to start your day, take a break, or incorporate into your evening routine. One of the intended benefits of this practice is a full sense of presence that you can feel. Not to mention many other scientifically proven benefits of meditation including lessening anxiety, depression, and pain.
Each meditation is a continuation of the previous one in the series, but they can also be enjoyed individually on their own. To get started, find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and click on the first meditation below, "Discovering Your Life Tree". You may even want to have a journal and pen nearby for reflecting after on any thoughts, feelings, or sensations that you experienced.
We hope that you enjoy this series. Let us know your thoughts by sending an email to admin@wellnesswithin.org, leave a review on our podcast, or share this series with a loved-one.
